Smokey is a 1986 Black POA Gelding. We sure wish we had 10 more like this fellow. He is a wonderful youth mount who we can put any beginner rider on to gain confidence and have fun. Erin has worked hard with Smokey each year adding to his list of classes and getting better each year. Smokey since 1998 has won the Superior Versatility Award, and once again in 2007 for the Franklin Trail Riders local shows he won it again. Smokey was also back at the New York State Fair in 2007 in the 4-H Western Division. He once again made us proud earning a ,1st in Pony Western Road Hack,1st in Pony Stock Seat Equitation 2nd in Pony Western Pleasure, 4th in Pony Western Horsemanship.
