JEM Farm is located in beautiful upstate New York in Champlain and owned by Larry and Donna Sorrell and their three children Justin, Megan and Erin.
What does JEM stand for?
Well there is a simple enough reason J. E. M. stands for the first initial of each of our childrens names.

Our Interest
Raising, showing and breeding Appaloosas. Also Showing and enjoying our Quarter Horse and Ponies. We are actively involved in 4-H, Franklin Trail Riders, Dannemora Riding Club and our Regional Appaloosa Club: The Lake Champlain Appaloosa Club.

Zeke is a rare breed of Japenese Dog called a Shiba Inu. He was born in September 2000 and is very smart and looks like a little fox with a curly tail! |
Zachary
Zachary is a 2005 Blue Merle Australian Sheperd. He was Donna Christmas present and what a good one. Great new addition to the farm.

Toby is a 2002 Blue Merle Australian Sheperd. He is very athletic and well mannered dog! He loves coming out to the barn and helping! |
Socks
Socks is our “upside down skunk” and halloween cat. Very friendly and loves attention. He has recently decided he likes to be around the barn to see all the visitors.

| Jesse
Jesse or “Baby” is the spoiled cat of the farm. He is also Donna’s helper at the barn.. well he thinks he is anyway and is the lesson assistant.

Jasmine is the newest addition to the farm. Someone one day decided that we needed another cat it seems. But she sures is a great hunter and loves being around the barn.
